This notice explains which personal data is processed when using this application, and why.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing is the service provider named under "Legal notice". Please direct data-protection requests to the email address given there.

2. General remarks on data processing

Processing takes place to fulfil the usage agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to maintain the operation and security of the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Registration and user account

Registration stores your name, email address, a securely hashed password, your chosen language, and your country. This data is required to use an account.

4. Vehicle and service data

Vehicles, vehicle identification numbers, mileage, service entries, costs, and uploaded photos and receipts are stored to enable the core function of the application - vehicle service management.

5. Sharing with workshops

Workshops only see a vehicle's data once the vehicle owner has actively set up a sharing grant. Prices and other workshops' names are always hidden. Data is not shared with any other third parties.

6. Cookies and session data

Only a technically necessary session cookie is used for login. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Retention period

Data is stored for as long as the user account exists. Upon request, the account and its associated data are deleted, unless legal retention obligations apply.

8. Data subject rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority (dsb.gv.at).

9. Note on early-access operation

The service is in a test phase. No guarantee can be given regarding continuous availability or complete data security. Regularly exporting your own data via the account feature is recommended.
